The Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly, Hon. Justin Okonoboh, was on Monday impeached by the lawmakers.
Okonoboh was the third Speaker to be removed since the current Assembly was inaugurated in 2015.
He was impeached for being selfish and running the Assembly like a family business.
The impeached speaker was accused of awarding contracts to himself and making his wife the 25th member of the House.
