    The Nigeria Labour Congress has applauded the Nigerian Senate for passing into law the new minimum wage bill of thirty thousand naira.

    NLC Wants New Minimum Wage Implemented From May

    Acting President of the NLC, Najeem Yasin, however, urged President Muhammadu Buhari to follow the part of honour by assenting the bill into law before May 1st, which is Workers Day.

    Labour asked state governments to shelve government cost to enable them to pay the new salary.
